Our Mission

At INTI EDITIONS, our mission is to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the book industry, from the earliest stages of editorial development to the moment a work reaches its readers. Since our foundation in 2016, we have dedicated ourselves to illuminating the complex and often overlooked processes behind book creation, publishing, and promotion.

We recognize that books are far more than commodities; they are cultural artifacts and vessels of knowledge, creativity, and memory. Our mission is anchored in the belief that raising public awareness about the editorial process enriches the cultural landscape and empowers readers, creators, and professionals alike.

Promoting Editorial Transparency and Education

One of the core elements of our mission is to demystify the book professions. The world of publishing is multifaceted and involves many professionals: editors, proofreaders, graphic designers, printers, and distributors, among others. These roles are usually invisible to the casual reader, yet they shape the entire experience of literature and knowledge dissemination.

INTI EDITIONS works to shine light on these professions by organizing workshops, open days, and training sessions that explain the technical and creative steps involved in producing a book. Our educational programs target a broad public, including students, educators, aspiring authors, and curious readers.

By sharing this knowledge, we aim to create an informed audience that can engage more critically and appreciatively with published works.

Publishing with Purpose

Publication is at the heart of our association’s activity. We carefully select works that resonate with our values — those that contribute meaningfully to cultural dialogue, foster critical thinking, or explore innovative forms and ideas.

Every book we publish is an opportunity to exemplify the craft and care inherent in quality editorial work. We prioritize transparency in our publishing practices, sharing insights into editorial decisions, design choices, and production methods.

Through our publications, we promote diversity in voices and styles, supporting authors who may be underrepresented in mainstream publishing channels.

Organizing Cultural Events

Beyond the printed page, INTI EDITIONS actively organizes cultural events to bring the editorial process into public view. These include readings, exhibitions, panel discussions, and fairs.

Our events serve multiple purposes: to celebrate books and authors, to create spaces for dialogue about publishing’s role in society, and to build a community of readers and professionals who share a passion for the written word.

By fostering interaction between creators and audiences, we deepen public engagement with literature and editorial culture.

Building a Community

INTI EDITIONS is also a community-driven association. We invite participation from volunteers, artists, educators, and all who are passionate about the book arts.

Our mission includes creating inclusive spaces where people from diverse backgrounds can come together to learn, collaborate, and innovate in publishing.

We believe that fostering connections among all stakeholders in the book ecosystem—readers, authors, technicians, and educators—strengthens the cultural fabric and encourages sustainable practices in the literary world.

Looking Ahead

Our mission remains dynamic. As the book industry evolves with new technologies and social changes, INTI EDITIONS commits to adapting and expanding its role in education, publishing, and cultural engagement.

Through continuous reflection, innovation, and collaboration, we aim to keep the editorial process transparent, accessible, and meaningful for future generations.
